Ashley Jones
Ashley Aubra Jones, born on September 3, 1976, in the US, is an actress. Her most well-known roles include soap opera performances as Megan Dennison (The Young and the Restless) and Bridget Forrester (The Bold and the Beautiful). She played Daphne a regular character in season two of HBO's show True Blood. Ashley Jones earned a Bachelor of Human Learning, K-8 in 1997 from the University of Tennessee at Martin. She started her career as a teacher at Maury County where she taught students in Kindergarten and First Grade Reading. She married Brent Jones, her UT Martin love and moved to Thompsons Station in 1998. Bethesda Elementary was where she first taught the fourth grade. In 1999 and 2000 she taught as she completed her Masters in Instruction from Trevecca Nazarene University but stepped out of the classroom after they welcomed their oldest son Baylor into the family in the year 2000. Ashley spent 15 years serving her church, community and her children. Ashley is an active leader in the Preschool Ministry and the Student Ministry in Thompson Station Church. While Ashley was at home with her family, she spent three years homeschooling. Ashley taught History for Kindergarten and the 1st grade at home and also took part in the tutorial. God has clearly demonstrated to her and their family that it was important to return to school. While Ashley enjoyed the homeschooling experience, she also enjoyed having her five kids. Brent and Ashley, who have five daughters. Silas, Eliza, and Cruz all attended GCA. Baylor is a GCA graduated and is a baseball player with UT Martin. Callan, a GCA graduate, also goes to Western Kentucky University. The family is engaged and they enjoy hunting, fishing and supporting each other in sports.
