Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox's parents are Dorothy Fharquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox. Dorothy Farquharson is her mother and Thomas Allison Lennox, father. Lennox won a scholarship award to study at London's Royal Academy of Music for 3 years. Lennox lived on an allowance for students and went off on a part-time job to supplement her income. Lennox was able to make a change in her career path following her dissatisfaction with her inexperience in contrast to the other Royal Academy students. Lennox played the flute in the band Dragons Playground. But she quit prior to the group's appearance to I.T.V.s talent show New Faces. Between 1977 and 1980, she was vocalist for The Tourists. A British pop group. She began to meet Dave Stewart, with whom they would create the pop duo Eurythmics. Then, Lennox began to work for her debut album as a solo artist Diva which was released in the year 1992. The album was an enormous critical and commercial success. Nostalgia Lennoxs six-album solo, released in October 2014 is Nostalgia Lennox. The C.D. contains a collection of Lennoxs favorite blues and soul tracks from her early years. Lepidoptera was released by Lennox on May 19, 2019. The collection comprised of four songs improvised. The E.P. First album of hers, Now I'm Letting You go... It is an accompaniment to her installation of artwork at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. Annie Lennox (born December 25 1955) is an artist from Scotland. Scottish political activist and singer. The Tourists were a new-wave band that achieved some popularity in the latter part of 1970s. In the following years, Lennox was joined by fellow artist Dave Stewart to form the pop duo Eurythmics. Lennox began her own solo career when she released her first album Diva in the year 1992. It was the basis of many hit songs like Why andWalking through the Broken Glass. Medusa is her studio album from 1995. It has covers of songs like The No MoreI I Love Yous and A Whiter Shade of Pale. Her solo catalog includes six studio albums and one compilation album.
