Yael, who is an Australian resident of New York City, played Lorna in Orange Is the New Black. Yael has a degree from NIDA. Her early work experience has enabled her to meet and work with the best Australian storytellers. Yael has a successful career working in Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael moved into New York City after the Brooklyn Academy of Music's staging of the show was an enormous achievement. Yael was co-founder of The Cannery. The Cannery is the Bushwick Brooklyn studio, they support new creative writings and encourage innovative concepts.
