Amy Amy Janet JanetAubrey Plaza, born June 26, 1984, is an actor and comedian well-known for her characteristic deadpan sense of humor. Plaza is April Ludgate, a character in"The Parks and Recreation" series "Parks and Recreation" series. She has performed improv as well as Sketch Comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater and her debut web-series with "The Jeannie Tate Show", Plaza went on to play Juddah Apalow's "Funny People" as well as Scott Pilgrim vs. the World later on in her life. It's her birthday! Aubrey Christina Plaza was born in Wilmington, Delaware, the daughter of attorney Bernadette Plaza and finance specialist David Plaza. She is a Puerto Rican and her mother is Irish, English and Irish. Plaza graduated from a Catholic all-girls high school in 2002, and then from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in the year 2006. As a high-school senior she was director of the Wilmington Drama League and a participant in its student body. Plaza She was a student still in her sophomore year of university when she suffered a stroke and was suffering from expressive aphasia and the paralysis phase. She is now fully recovered.
